Finally Finished

Well after many trials and errors, I am as finished as I'll ever be. Such a nerve racking experience. I have a few craftmanship issues I hope to fix, but overall I am happy with my finished product. This break just wasn't long enough for me.

First Attempt: A Success

Siggi Eggertsson 2

Special Thanks to Danielle for introducing me to Siggi Eggertsson's Work.

an idea that I got last year when I was living in Berlin. I wanted to modernize the working methods of the Impressionists, who took their canvases outside and painted what was in front of them. My idea was to take my computer outside, and draw what i saw. This image was drawn on top of a 12 floor building in Friedrichshain. The battery in my computer does not last for ever, so I had to do it in several turns.

More Lables

I want to use transfers, so I went back and made some changes so hopefully it will be easier to to so. I changed to color pallet too. I want and old world feel. The colors were inspired by the colors of old greek urns to enforce the idea of greek mythology.

Existing Eos Logo

Eos

Eos ("dawn") was, in Greek mythology, the Titan Goddess of the dawn, who rose from her home at the edge of Oceanus, the Ocean that surrounds the world, to herald her brother Helios, the sun. As the dawn goddess, she opened the gates of heaven (with "rosy fingers") so that Helios could ride his chariot across the sky every day. In Homer (Iliad viii.1; xxiv.695), her yellow robe is embroidered or woven with flowers (Odyssey vi:48 etc); rosy-fingered and with golden arms, she is pictured on Attic vases as a supernaturally beautiful woman, crowned with a tiara or diadem and with the large white-feathered wings of a bird. Eos is the iconic original from which Christian angels were imagined.

MY WINE PICK

Eos Estate Winery
2006 "TEARS OF DEW" LATE HARVEST MOSCATO
A Dessert Wine
This vintage opens with an explosion of aromas, including apricot, peach, apple and lilac. Flavors of peach and apricot coat the whole palate, while orange blossom essences add a delicate complexity. The rich flavors finish clean and not cloying, with a light, pleasant crispness
